With this series of photos you are introduced to RolfQuo Biodiesel. RolfQuo is a mid sized commercial biodiesel producer in Montreal's west Island area suituated at 18900 Clark Graham Baie D'Urfe, 514-457.4222 Andy.
To the best of my knowledge RolfQuo is the only commercial producer using hard wood chips to purify their biodiesel, and with astouding results.

The lid of each chip drum has two fittings welded into them. The one carries a pressure guage and the onther a split head for spraying.

The filter sits at the bottom of the drum and is screwed onto a fitting that itself is controlled by a ball valve. A piece of 4" drain pipe is slit open to fit over top of the filter so that the chips,when packed into the drum will not compact around

 Description:
Each drun is fitted with a full length 70 mesh syainless stell filter inbeded in a 1.14" pipe that has been groved out to allow for easy flow.
